Artifact #1 – Artifact #8
Will automatically appear in your backpack at the beginning of the chapter. Riley’s pendant will also be there, but it doesn’t count as a collector’s item.
Comics #1: Uncertainty
Follow the deer’s trail to the ruined house and pick up the comics from the desk drawer.
Firefly Pendant #1: Kristof
Some time after meeting David, he will drop you off on the landing so you can throw down the ladder. Go into the room on the other side of the hall to find this pendant.
Optional Conversation
In the last room with supplies, where you’ll have to defend against the infected, climb the small ladder and examine the corpse for this dialogue.
Cabin Resort
Firefly Pendant #2: Braun
After completing the horse chase, go through the first house and turn right. The pendant lies on the bench in the gazebo from the screenshot below.
Comics #2: Negentropy
Having dealt with the enemies in this area, you’ll have to go through the chimney to advance further. Immediately afterwards, turn around and pick up the comics from the bench.
Artifact #9: Lake Resort Map
When you play as Joel for the second time in this chapter, the map will automatically appear in your inventory.
Shiv Door
Walk forward through the snowstorm to the Motel and make your way through it to the backyard. There you will see this locked door. You’ll need a shiv to open it and pick up additives and parts for the workbench.
Training Manual – Smoke: Shaping
Behind the previous locked door, you’ll find a tutorial that makes the smoke bombs last 20 seconds longer.
Artifact #10: Meat Ledger
Move forward until you pick up Ellie’s storybook backpack. After that, look at the rack on the right to find this logbook.
